Salt Creek Brewing Company

Salt Creek Brewing Company is a hypothetical, casual restaurant located in Dana Point, California that is intended to be accommodating for youth living in the area. Orange County can get expensive, so the branding objective for this company was to provide a welcoming environment targeted for young adults in the area in order to establish itself as the local kickback for youth.

The original concept for this logo was for it to be an emblem or a stamp, but the placement of the wave between the letters ended up complimenting the shape of the company’s name. The supplemental shape of the “brewing company” text also aids and conceals the logo’s shape due to the main type’s organic nature.
